Jimmy previously worked at Cannon Mills, and he retired from Clinipad Medical Supplies in Charlotte. He was also known as “Mr. Jimmy” who was the bus and van driver for Lamberts Daycare, which his wife owned and operated for many years. He used to coach little league baseball, and he thoroughly enjoyed getting away to their lake house down on Lake Tillery. Many a fish were caught, and many sunsets were viewed from there. Jimmy was a member of Friendship Southern Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Betty Burris Lambert; son, Jody Lambert and wife, Gloria; grandchildren, Ethan, Eli and Katie; sister-in-law, Dolly Lambert, nieces, nephews and a host of Burris family who will miss Jimmy dearly.
