OBITUARY
Judith Marie Lamb
NOVEMBER 19, 1952 – MAY 4, 2015
Born in St Louis, MO, Judy died at her home in Golden May 4, after a 20 year battle with breast cancer.
As a nurse, she helped establish Hospice del Valle, as well as the Boys and Girls Club of the San Luis Valley. She helped arrange and manage specialty clinics across Southern Colorado for Children with Special Needs.
She joked that she raised three children and one husband. She enjoyed traveling and exploring different cultures, including hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu when her cancer had spread to many of her bones. She will be remembered as thoughtful, friendly, nurturing and caring, as well as courageous.
She is survived, by her husband, Dr Michael Firth; her son Thomas Firth; her two daughters Maura and Madison Firth; her mother, Nancy Donovan; her brother Patrick Lamb; and four sisters: Madelyn Lamb, Maureen Best, Carol McCartney, and Martha Burke.
An outdoor Celebration of Judy's Life will be held at 10 am, May 22 at The Retreat at Solterra, 15250 W. Evans Ave, Lakewood, CO 80228
