Born to Joan and Allan Gilbert, Jan 26, 1957. Graduated from Olympus High in 1975. She was a nurse's aide at St. Marks' Hospital.
Survived by parents, daughter, Lilly McMurtry, her sisters, Brenda G. Ludlow and Kathy G. Jones, ex-husband, John McMurtry, and many family members and friends.
Debra was a loving person, she had a cheerful enthusiasm for life and helping others. She loved her animals and she had a joyful personality. We will all miss her musical laughter.
It was her wish that no funeral be held and that she be cremated. A memorial open house will be held Sun. Feb 22, at 2616 Carroll St., North Las Vegas, NV from 1-5 p.m. to remember Debra
