Heather Jean Talley was born on September 17, 1990 and was called to rest on July 15, 2018. She was engaged to Darius Ross. She grew up in Hegewisch and later moved to Hammond. She enjoyed drawing, cooking, styling hair, makeup and painting nails. She loved children and would watch anyone’s kids. She would live life to the fullest. Heather had a big heart and a smile that would light up the room. She is survived by her mother Diana Graczyk; step father Kenneth Graczyk; sisters: Jackquelynn Talley and Abby Graczyk; and brother Steven Talley Jr.; father Steven Talley Sr.; step sister Kimberly Gilbert; half sister Katlyn Talley and Chelsey Teim; brother Derrik Teim; nieces: Jada and Jazzmin; nieces and nephews: Kameal, Kameran, Mitchael and Gabriel. She had many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends that love her deeply. Heather will be truly missed. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, July 20, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Peter A. Speckhard officiating. Interment to follow at Catholic Cemeteries, Hammond, IN.
