MICHAEL ANTONIO ALVARADO, 37, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Lifelong resident of El Paso, TX, Michael completed both a bachelor of arts in psychology and a bachelor in business administration. He worked in retail services and later, with Project Vida. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jose E. Carrillo, Francisca T. Carrillo, and Refugio Alvarado. Michael is survived by his daughters, Krista Marie Alvarado and Jennifer Ashley Alvarado; parents, Antonio and Emma C. Alvarado; sister, Lisa Marie Alvarado (Henry), and grandfather, Benjamin Alvarado, Sr. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins: (godfather) Richard and Alicia Carrillo and family; Joe and Joan Carrillo and family; Olga Valenzuela and family; Guadalupe Solis and Oscar Garcia and family; Benjamin Alvarado, Jr. and family; Ramon and Kathy Alvarado and family; and godparents, Tiofilo and Juanita Campos and family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Martin Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund will be established for his daughters, Krista and Jennifer. Please contact Lisa Alvarado for further details. Michael was a devoted father, son, and brother and he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
