Phillip M Butler, age 64, of Broken Bow, OK passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Idabel, OK.
He was born on August 2, 1954 in Hugo, OK. Butler was a graduate of Idabel Gray High School.
Butler was a mechanic. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a race car driver himself. Butler enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing frisbee with his dog, Rowdy and working on and restoring cars.
Butler was a devoted son, father, grandfather and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Butler; his step-father, AW "Buck " Bryant; and his sister, Mary Elizabeth Rafferty.
Butler is survived by his mother, Mary Bryant of Haworth, OK; sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Shelly Butler of Bartlesville, OK and Jody and Magie Butler of Newcastle, OK; his grandchildren, Cade Butler, Cameron Butler and Zack Butler; his beloved dog, Rowdy; many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the White Family Chapel with Bro Jimmy Jeter officiating. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.
