Elizabeth June Andrews Lawson, 86, of Fletchers Mountain Road, Narrows, VA departed this life Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her home in the loving care of her family and hospice. “Our kind, loving, Christian mother, matriarch of our family, passed into the everlasting arms of our Heavenly Father” Born on March 29, 1932 in Rocky Gap, VA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Alvin Andrews and Jessie Bell Lambert Andrews. June was a Christian, a member of the family of faith at Bethel Chapel in Clendennin, a 1949 graduate of Rocky Gap High School and a retired Lab Tech from the Celanese Plant at Narrows with 36 years service. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Eugene, Richard and Manly Andrews and an infant sister.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Darrell Lynn Ferrell and wife Vickie of Pearisburg and Jerry Michael Ferrell of Narrows; her daughters Constance Eilene Ferrell of Narrows, Peggy Gail Fraley and husband Charles of Narrows, Rhonda McCroskey and husband Jimmy of Narrows; her sister Josephine Page Bowling of Rocky Gap; her eight grandchildren; and her nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 4:00 pm in Bethel Chapel in Clendennin with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 4:00 pm before the services. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
