Mrs. Ruth A. Wilson, 83, of 11 Grover St., widow of Lewis W. (Fenner) Wilson, died Monday in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Auburn.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Donald Quill, Mrs. Mortimer Clark and Mrs. Robert Bunnell of Auburn, and Mrs. Gerald Dygert of Fleming; two sons, Charles I. and Joseph G. Wilson of Auburn; a brother, W. Warren Cheney of Sima, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Murphy and Mrs. R. Perry Chrisler of Auburn and Mrs. William Rettallack of Cape Neddick, Maine; 26 grandchildren; 37 great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Brew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Fleming. Friends may call at 48 South St., from 7 to 9 tonight and on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
