School Hill - Salvador J. Binversie, age 94, formerly of School Hill, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2018 at Sheboygan Senior Community surrounded by his family,

Sal was born on May 14, 1924, son of the late Matthew and Margaret (Endries) Binversie at the family farm in School Hill. He attended School Hill Grade School. On November 13, 1954 he married the love of his life Grace J. Dukevis in Johnsburg. Grace preceded him in death on August 1, 2015. Sal ran an excavating business for 15 years. He also worked as a butcher at Brost's Food Market in School Hill from where he retired from in 1986. Sal was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and a member of the Catholic Knights of School Hill. Sal enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, gardening, and helping on the farm. He always looked forward to playing cards with his family and friends. Sal shared many good times with his friends at Mapledale Senior Living.

He is survived by his three daughters: Marcy (Jerry) Becher, Cindy (David) Debilzen and Karen (Brian Mehevic) Salm; one son-in-law: Mike (Vickie) Koenig; five grandchildren: Terry (Lori) Becher, Kelli (Scott) Widder, Ryan (Stacy) Salm, Shana (Kyle) Anderson and Tiffany Achterkirch; and 10 great-grandchildren. Sal is further survived by his brother and sister: Ralph Binversie, and Hedwig (Richard) Vogel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jack Goehring, Mary Binversie and Marion Voelker, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, daughter: Carol Koenig, granddaughter: Krystal Koenig, great-grandson: Collin Widder; brothers: Linus (Dorothy) Binversie, Augie Binversie, and Urban Binversie; sisters: Sally (Milton) Bruns and Esther Goehring; brother-in-law: Howard Voelker, sister-in-law: Betty Binversie and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank & Margaret Dukevis.

Mass of Christian Burial for Sal will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Richard Fleischmann with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
