Joe T. Rogers, 90, a lifelong resident of Fort Worth passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018.

MEMORIAL VISITATION: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Joe was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and graduated from Paschal High School and TCU. He worked at Texas Electric for 32 years. He loved to travel, spend time with his grandchildren, a big supporter of the North Texas Animal Shelter, and was a huge TCU sports fan. He was married to Carolyn Walker Rogers for 60 years. Grandy," as he was called by the grankids, will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Joe was preceded in death by wife, Carolyn; daughter, Cheryl Rogers.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Mike and Renee Sanders, Randy and Michele Rogers; brother, Charles "Red" Rogers; grandchildren, Joe, Ryon, Samantha, Hilary; great-grandchildren, Micah, RJ, Aiden.
