Rex Lester Robinson, age 86, of Colorado Springs, passed away on July 23, 2012. He was born in Lamoni, Iowa on March 14, 1926. He was married to Virginia Norman on March 2, 1947. Rex was a retired US Postal Service worker of 32 years. He had a deep passion for his family. He is survived by his wife Virginia; son David Robinson; daughters Marilyn (Mike) Carroll and Beverly Francis; grandchildren: David Robinson, Erin Gilmore and Tyler Francis; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Colton, Hunter, Levi and Olivia; one great-great-grandchild: Cooper; one brother Claremont Robinson of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by brother William C. Robinson. Services will be held at a later time in Iowa.
