She attended the Dover Hill Christian Union Church and she retired from Jasper Furniture.
She is survived by four brothers, Bill Tinkle of Jasper; Tennis Tinkle of Petersburg; Harold Tinkle of Dubois; and Carl Tinkle of French Lick.
Five sisters: Yvonne Stone of Shoals; Linda K. Courtright of Loogootee; Brenda Tedrow of Loogootee; Pamela Blair of Petersburg, and Lana Bush of Linton
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Jack Tinkle and Daniel Tinkle; and sisters, Clara Wininger and Carolyn Sue Bailey.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
