She worked at English American, Random House, Westminster Lanes and retired from her private daycare business. She loved spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren play sports, her daily phone calls and weekly lunches at the VFW with her friends and family and vacationing in her favorite place of Wildwood, NJ every year. She was a life-long member of St. Mary's United Church of Christ.
Besides her husband she is survived by 2 children Shane Moody and wife Jennifer of Myrtle Beach and Laurie Naill and husband Larry of Westminster; grandchildren Allyson Moody, Shayne Moody, Haleigh Moore and C.J. Moody, mother-in-law Eleanor Moody of Atlanta, GA; cousins Belinda VonGunten and Nancy Hoffman, both of Westminster and many other cousins, aunts Nikki Yingling of Ohio and Arlyn Yingling of Westminster; friends Peggy Galloway, Kathy Mullen and many others.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster and at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's United Church of Christ, 1441 East Mayberry Rd., Westminster, Maryland 21158, with her pastor, Rev. Eric Marstellar officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
