Bonnie Jean Spencer was born was born November 27, 1924 in Oil Hill, Kansas. She was called home by her Lord and Saviour on July 26, 2018, in Mannford, Oklahoma.

Bonnie lived most of her life in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area where she worked at Thurston Insurance as a telephone operator. She was a longtime member of Easton Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa where she developed numerous lifetime friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her son Garland and grandson Tim as well as six siblings.

Survivors include her son Dennis and his wife Barbara of Oklahoma City; sisters Coweta Burke and her husband George, Phyllis Prather of Mannford; grandchildren Teresa, D’Anna, Cristy, Heath, Gabrielle as well as great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends including her faithful friend and helper Margaret Snell.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, August 3, 2018, Friday at Chapman-Black Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Perry Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Jennings Cemetery.
