Obituary: Pensacola News Journal November 11, 1979
Justin Gilbreath Wilkes, 9, of 3940 Montalvo Drive, died Friday evening at his residence.
He was a native of Fairfax, VA., and moved to Pensacola with his family in 1975. He attended Cordova Park Elementary and East Hill Christian School.
Survivors include his parents, Frank and Joy Wilkes of Pensacola; a sister, Missy Wilkes of Pensacola; his grandparents, Leo and Mae Beattie of Menominee, Mich., and Verna Wilkes of Pensacola; a great-aunt, Rachel Wilkes of Pensacola; an uncle, Roger Beattie of Sanford, N.C.; and an aunt, Gloria McIntosh of Minneapolis, Minn.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday at the Summit Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. L. Powers McLeod officiating.
The body will be placed at the church one hour prior to services.
Burial will be at Bayview Memorial Park with Harper-Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be Roger Beattie, Frank Berta, Rick Ciordia, Eric Dauphinee, Joe Lovoy and Norman Rubinstein.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart's Children's Hospital.
