Rebecca “Lynne” Crews Blaylock, 72, passed away at her home on August 2, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 1, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Katherine Elizabeth Clodfelter Crews and Ralph Hiatt Crews.

Lynne retired from Forsyth Medical Center in 2004.

Lynne loved gardening and shopping, but most of all, she loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Lynne was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Freddie” Blaylock and her daughter, Ronda Mechelle Blaylock.

Lynne is survived by two sisters, Vicky Thomas (Mark) and Sandra “Kathy” Camp; three nephews: Mark (Tara), Robert, and Kevin; niece, Sherry (Tobin); two great-nephews, Tyler and Jacob; great-niece, Kylie; and her lifelong friend, Barbara Foster.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Herb Mabe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, at Poplar Springs Church of Christ Cemetery.
