Cindy was born on February 2, 1953 in Amarillo to Don and Betty Cox. She was raised in Canyon, where she graduated from high school in 1971. She the attended Amarillo College, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in healthcare and her Registered Nurse License. She worked at Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital before moving to Graham,TX briefly, returning to Amarillo where she worked at the Veteran's Hospital and in Hospice care.

Cindy was a loving daughter, sister and aunt to her family who will miss her greatly. Above all, Cindy was a woman of God and enjoyed sharing his love with others.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Hill; brothers, Toby and Gary Cox, all of Amarillo and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Charles "Charlie" Cox.
