Robstown, TX

On the evening of October 31, 2016, Brian Leon Hatch, passed away suddenly at his home in Robstown, Texas, at the age of 59. He was born January 27, 1957, to Joseph Reginald (Reg) Hatch and Nora May Foster Hatch.

Brian Hatch served his family well. He modeled a life lived for Jesus, was a faithful husband, a dad, grandfather, uncle, and friend, who taught by his actions, how we should laugh, how to love, how to hold onto Jesus & God's Word, and how to give.

Brian was a devoted church member and deacon at River Hills Baptist Church. He served the church faithfully over the years, by teaching Youth Sunday School, serving as a media technician, and was always willing to help out in any way he could.

Brian grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and attended Cathedral Catholic elementary school, Driscoll Middle School, and graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1975. He attended Del Mar College and then began a career in the Gas Measurement Industry at Smith-Goodenough Measurement, then Southern Flow Company which became Zedi US. November, 2016 marked 39 years of service. Brian loved his work and the many friends he met over his many years in the field.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Reginald and Nora May Hatch.

He is survived by his loving wife, Chloe Ann Hatch of 38 years, his son, Michael Brian Hatch (Tracie) of Robstown, Texas, his daughters, Denise Ann Wright (Matthew) of Robstown, Texas, and Emily Diane Bowden (Zach) of Cedarville, Ohio. He is survived by his brother, Reginald Joseph (Buck) Hatch (Ann) of Sandia, Texas, sister, Bettye McLaughlin (Mac) of Corpus Christi, Texas, sister, Margaret Lee (David) of Baytown, Tedas. Brian had eight grandchildren that he absolutely adored, Caleb, Chloe and Conner Wright, Reginald and Evelyn Hatch and Hadden, Molly and Claire Bowden.

Visitation will be held for family and friends on Thursday, November 3, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, TX.

Funeral services will be conducted at River Hills Baptist Church on Friday, November 4, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Bill Simmons.

Burial will follow at Sandia Cemetery in Sandia, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to River Hills Christian Academy Scholarship Fund, PO Box 260607, Corpus Christi, TX, 78426.
