Barry Don "Catfish" Pierce age 64 of Pulaski, TN passed away on Tuesday evening July 31st, 2018 at Tennessee Southern Regional Hospital Pulaski. He was born on February 27th, 1954 in Giles County.
Barry Don was the Maintenance Supervisor at the Pulaski Housing Authority for 42 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was an avid golfer and won numerous championships at Hillcrest County Club. Barry Don loved farming, shooting pool, The University of TN sports programs and was a graduate of GCHS Class of 1972.
Visitation will be Friday, August 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4th in the chapel of the funeral home. The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski.
Barry Don was preceded in death by his parents William Edward "Red" and Elizabeth Pearl Martin Pierce.
He is survived by his son Barry(Brandie)McQuilkin of Summertown. Daughter Dawn McQuilkin(Joel)Wray of the Brick Church Community. Brother William G."Bo"(Lavonne)Pierce of Knoxville, Tn. Sister Martene Pierce(Jeff)Hatfield of Pulaski. Four grandchild, nieces, nephews, and partner of 25 yrs Pam "PJ" Durbin of Pulaski, daughter and two grandchildren.
