Don was born on Sept. 17, 1935 in Eastland, Texas to Dewey and Donnie (Wilson) Webb. He was born and raised in Eastland, Don maintained life long friendships with his classmates. He and his younger brother, Dewain, both served in the U.S. Military. Don was in the Marines and Dewain in the Air Force.
After serving his country, Don worked at the Rock Island Railroad and graduated with a BBA from North Texas University. Don met the love of his life, Janet Patrick, at Riverside Church of Christ. They married on Aug. 5, 1961. Don quickly became friends and fishing buddies with Janet's older brothers. Don and Janet raised their two girls faithfully attending and serving at their family church. His girls quickly realized what a servant heart their daddy had. Don served as deacon at Riverside, Midtown, and eventually Heritage Church of Christ. Don and Janet have maintained many loving friendships with their fellow small group members over the years.
Don worked as a Federal Bank Examiner, counselor and assistant director for Texas Rehabilitation Commission, and a salesman for Swift & Co. Eventually Don would own his own businesses including Webb's Jani-King.
Don Webb was a gentleman of all gentleman. He has been called a hero by so many who knew him. He was an example of Christ's love and grace with a true servant's heart.
Survivors: Wife, Janet; daughters, Jill (Larry) Roberts and Jana Webb; four grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Dewain (Brenda) Webb; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear, dear friends, Jerry and Shirley Sloan.
