A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln. Rev. John Pham will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Laura Jane Hedrick was born February 12, 1951, in Monroe, Mich., the daughter of Robert S. and Ann F. Schnorberger Hedrick. She married Willis Adams on April 18, 1986. He survives.
Laura is also survived by children, Michael (Angie) Hedrick, Missy (Jeff) Gaither, Debbie (Tom) Hubner, John Adams and Michelle Adams; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Holly (Gary) Woodhall and two brothers, Robert (Minnie) Hedrick and Bill Hedrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Laura was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln Community High School. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Family Society and the Lincoln Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She had worked at Lincoln College in Food Services for 35 years. Laura enjoyed QVC, especially "In the Kitchen With David," social networking, and watching the Cubs play baseball.
Memorials may be made to Carroll School.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln.
