Annie L. Ramsay, 96, a retired high school history and English teacher, died Friday at Centennial Gardens in Monterey.
She was born July 5, 1906, in Lampasas, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and moved to Pebble Beach in 1953. She had been a member of the Monterey Peninsula Country Club since 1953.
Mrs. Ramsay loved her many friends and enjoyed golf.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann Bennett of Nevada, and a grandson.
At her request, no services will be held. Paul Mortuary will handle the arrangements.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.
