Yvonne Harless Hill, 75, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on December 5, 2017 after an extended illness at Marietta Memorial Hospital under the care of Hospice. She was born on April 27, 1942 in Lincoln County, WV. She was a graduate of Scott High School, class of 1960, along with being a graduate of Parkersburg Beauty College. Yvonne was a beautician for over 40 years, owner/operator of Yvonne’s Beauty Salon in South Parkersburg for 35 years. She was a past member of the Manila Church of Christ near Chapmanville, WV as well as being a member of the South Parkersburg Women’s Club. She was preceded in death by her father, Ward Harless; mother, Audrey Harless; brothers, Ben and Bobby Harless; and sisters, Lucile Cantley and Freda Elswick. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ralph S. Hill; her sister, Cornell Clark; and three children, Jennifer Walters (RobRoy), Pamela Cline and Thomas Hill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Ryan Cobb, Adam Walters, David Cobb, Grace Hill, Cloe Hill, Kara Hill and Kylie Hill, who meant the world to her; two special nieces, Elwanda Johnson and Kathy Patterson; and close family friend Dixie Farhatt. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. At her request there will be no service. The family expresses their appreciation to her personal physician, Dr. Sheri Vance, Belpre Landing, Marietta Memorial Hospital and Marietta Home Health and Hospice. Mom was never a fan of flowers, so in lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to the Marietta Home Health and Hospice.
