Peggy Louise Howard the daughter of John and Sally (Thirsty) Blackwood was born August 20, 1951 in Talahina, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 28, 2018 at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 8 days.

Peggy enjoyed life and she loved the Lord. She served the Lord beside her husband, Larry Howard, in their Prison Ministry. They travelled around the world singing and sharing the gospel. She loved her family and spending time with them. Her great grandsons were the light in her eye. She was very proud of her Native American Heritage. She enjoyed riding Harleys, spending time at the family cabin, being out on the boat and going to the beach. Peggy touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sally Blackwood; her husband Larry Howard and her son Shondae Tenetkoge Checotah.

She is survived by : her step-sons, Bryan Howard (Erica) of Titusville, FL and Brandon Howard (Millie) of Titusville, FL; her sisters, Lavina Ballard (Mike) of Stilwell, Darlene Price (Dwayne) of Stilwell and Kimberly Craig (Billy) of Stilwell; her brothers-in-law, Jeff Howard (Cindy) of Ashville, NC and Mike Howard (Linda) of Auburndale, FL; her grandchildren, Lindsey Webb, Gabriel Checotah, Damien Checotah, Sierra Howard and Luke Howard; and her great grandchildren, Charles Webb and Miles Howard.
