Bob Jump, 54, of Lebanon passed away Friday at his home.
He was born in National City, Calif., the son of Robert V. and Eva Mae (Gipson) Jump. He grew up in the El Cajon, Calif., area where he graduated from high school. While he was in California, Bob enjoyed riding dune buggies and drag racing. He moved to the Lebanon area in 1977 and has lived here since.
Bob worked as a dump truck driver for various construction companies.
He married Judi D. Brown on Dec. 9, 2000, in Sisters.
Bob loved working; he also enjoyed camping, fishing and gold mining.
He is survived by wife Judi D. Jump of Lebanon; children Keri Mitchell of Oregon City, Jason Jump of North Bend, Nick Slayter of Portland, Kory Cutlip of Albany, Brooke Brown of Lebanon, Lacy Brown of Lebanon and Jaid Brown of Lebanon; father Robert V. Jump of Sweet Home; brother Mike Jump of Escondido, Calif.; sister Susan Baker of Pittsburg, Calif.; and grandchildren Taylor Jump, and Kayla and Brittany Mitchell.
Bob was preceded in death by mother Eva Mae Brady in 2007, and wife Allane in 1999.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. At his request, no services will be held.
