She was born the daughter of the late Stuart Addison and Margaret Elizabeth Husbands Beggs. She was predeceased by her husband, Forney Norwood Richardson, Sr. Mrs. Richardson was a graduate of Georgia State Teacher's College. She was the oldest member of Pike Rocky Point Presbyterian Church where she served as a dedicated servant of the church; as deacon, elder and Sunday school teacher for many years. She died at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center at age 93.
