He was a member of the Protestant faith. He was also a member of the North American Rod and Fun Club and the Hagerstown Redmen 197.
He is survived by one son, Jarold J. Schroyer Jr., Smithsburg; two step-daughters, Nancy Wiles and Connie Howlett, both of Hagerstown; sister, Mary Jenkins, Hagerstown; brother, Kenneth E. Schroyer, Williamsport; two grandchildren and one step-granddaughter.
Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home. Burial in the Myersville United Methodist Cemetery.
