Sharon Kay Stuart, 72, died July 27, 2018 at her home in Norman, Oklahoma.

Sharon was born October 19, 1945 in Danville, Arkansas. She was the youngest daughter of Alvie and Bronnie Scott’s 6 children. Sharon was raised and attended Danville public schools playing basketball.

Sharon married Sunny Stuart on March 4, 1978, making their home in Norman, Oklahoma. Sharon’s life was highlighted by 40 years of marriage and 35 years as a Pastor’s wife. She also helped run a successful appliance business.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was an avid sooner fan; attending Sooner home football games for multiple years. Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother. She was thoughtful and caring.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Birtha Scott and Vernice Powell; 2 brothers, Alvie Scott, Jr and Wayne Scott; and step-daughter, Penny Stuart.

She is survived by her husband Sunny Stuart of the home; 2 sons, grandchildren and nieces & nephews, and many loving friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 with the family gathering to meet with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 31, 2018 until service time.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Little Axe with Jack Winter and Greg Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
