Born in Schenectady, Anthony was the son of the late Louis and Beatrice (Tucci) Caputo.
Anthony served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was then stationed in Germany. After discharge he served in the Army Reserve and retired as Command Sergeant Major.
For 28 years, Anthony worked at the General Electric Co. as a welder.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Jo-An (McKnight) Caputo, his daughter, Rose Yetter, son, Ronny Caputo (Terri), step-children, Jackie Gregoire (Albert), Charlene Fogarty (John) and Tracy Tanner (Raymond). Anthony is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment with military honors will be private.
