John Andres, 52, went to his eternal home on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Lakeland Hospital in Watervliet.
Services for John wil be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sodus. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Immediately after burial a luncheon will be provided back at the church. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Donations in memory of John may be made to the church.
John was born Feb. 13, 1966, in Benton Harbor to Ernest and Carol (Maikowski) Andres, Jr. He graduated from Michigan Lutheran School and was a life long member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
John's life passions were farming and his family. He started his love for farming as a child on the family farms of his grandfather, Ernest Andres, Sr.(#102001911), and his father Ernest Andres Jr., in Sodus. He later partnered with his brother Steve Andres, to farm Andres Brothers Farms, which operated in Bainbridge Township. His other life passion of family was shown by how dearly he loved his three beautiful daughters - Kelsey, Brooke and Abby Andres - from his marriage to their mother, Kim (wood) Andres.
In addition to his three daughters, John is survived by his parents; two brothers, Mark (Cheryl) Andres and Steve (Carol) Andres; a sister, Kathy (Kevin) Rodell; and many nieces and nephews.
