ObituaryPearl M. LucasLUCAS, PEARL M. ascended to her Heavenly Father on March 4, 2011. Pearl was born to George and Sallie Lucas on November 11, 1914 in Cement, OK. In 1951, she and her two daughters moved to Louisville. She graduated with a master's degree in education and psychology from OCW College in Chickasha, OK and taught at Frayser Elementary in Louisville for over 25 years. Pearl was an active member of the Key to the City Club for over 30 years and a member of the Episcopal United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mae and Violet; and her grandson, Robert Drane. Survivors include her daughters, Sallie Norton and Georgia Drane (Frank); grandchildren, David Staples (Cathy), Sallie Smith (Mickey), Lisa Stanley (Chris) and Dustin Norton (Corey); 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pearl's love of life, her family and many close friends across the country was a testimony to her Christian Faith.
