Ruby M. Sanders, 84, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Strunk, Kentucky on October 23, 1933, the daughter of Jerome Boyatt and Mable Watters.
Ruby retired from Borg Warner after several years of service.
She adored spending time with her family and always enjoyed the company of her three daughters and grandchildren. Ruby also enjoyed reading, gardening and birdwatching.
Survivors include her children, Mary Sanders, Karen Sanders and Brenda Barlow (husband, Jerry); her grandchildren, Shane and Bennie Garrett, Amy Stout (significant other, Shawn Crabtree) and Jerica Barlow; her great-grandchildren, Briana and Aaron Garrett, Michael Coleman (fiancé, Carrie Siewert), Shawn, Kaitynn, Raelynn and Boyd Crabtree; two sisters, Betty King (husband, Walter) and Carolyn King; two special cousins, Hollins Kidd (wife, Maxine) and Trudy Brewster; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Sanders Sr.; son, Phillip Sanders Jr.; a grandson, Chad Stout; two sisters, Arbutice Foust and Mildred Conley; her heart sister, Myrtle Watters; and her parents.
