He was born Feb. 12, 1928 in Atlanta, GA to the late, Edward Alonzo & Ida Lena Hembree Foster. He is preceded in death by DeLoma Corine Elkins Foster, a daughter, Regina Gail Hopkins & a sister, Loree Foster Murphy. He was a former Vice President of JP Stevens & was an avid ProAm Golf player.
He is survived by a son, Roger (Karen) Foster of Greenville, daughters, Sandra (Derrell) Hawkins of Seneca, brother, John (Barbara) Foster of Panama City, FL, grandchildren, Pamela Durschlaq, Amy Hawkins, Lucinda Orr & Raegan Foster & six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service to begin at 2pm Tuesday July 31, 2018 in the chapel with burial in Graceland East Memorial Park in Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm prior. Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home of Seneca is in charge of the arrangements.
