Mrs. Gertrude Barr, 96, of Louisville, died Wednesday, February 7, 1996, at Caritas Medical Center, Louisville. She was born April 8, 1899, a daughter of Hugh & Betty Elizabeth Hardesty. Mrs. Barr is survived by 4 sons, Mr. Joseph Adolph Barr, St. Louis, MO, Mr. Norman Barr, and Mr. Gerald Barr, Louisville, Mr. Ralph Barr, Payneville; 2 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Flaherty and Mrs. Geraldine Sims, Louisville; 2 brothers, Mr. Fred Hardesty, Rhodelia, Mr. Paul Hardesty, Ocala, FL; 23 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, from the St. Theresa Catholic Church, with Rev. Al Wilson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Dennis Barr, Kurt Barr, Tom Berryman, David Jones, Mike Wheatley and David Barr.
