Billie Gene McDonald Jr. known to family as “Bubba”, and many friends as “Scooter”, passed away on July 26, 2018, after a long hard fought battle against cancer with his closest family members fighting right along his side.
Billie was born July 28, 1949, to Mr. and Mrs. Billie Gene McDonald Sr. in Mexia Texas. He was a native of Shiloh Texas. Billie went to Shiloh School and Mexia High School.
He is preceded in death by his father Billie Gene McDonald Sr. of Shiloh Texas, Grandparents Cecil and Susie McDonald of Shiloh Texas, Grandparents Clyde and Novell Talley of Sherman Texas.
He is survived by his mother Zarine McDonald of College Station Texas, his sister Theresa Herin and spouse Scotty of Millican Texas, his brother Terry McDonald Sr. and spouse Pat Nemec of Humble Texas and Grand-daughter Shiloh Simmons of Houston Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 10am at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home with Pastor Aubrey Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 pm., Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.
