Funeral services for Dolores A. Olson, 85, of Hartland will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hartland Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Shawn Stafford will officiate. Interment will be at Hartland Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Dolores died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

Dolores Ann Olson was born June 27, 1932, in Lerdal, the daughter of Ernest and Pearl (Dahl) Lee. She grew up on a farm near Manchester and graduated from Freeborn High School. On Dec. 31, 1950, Dolores was united in marriage to Leslie Miller Olson at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Hartland. They were married for 64 years before Les passed in 2015.

Dolores enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of Hartland Evangelical Lutheran Church. She belonged to Mission Circle – Naomi group and taught Sunday school at Cross of Glory. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Dolores enjoyed fishing in her younger years, camping, putting puzzles together and spending time with kids and grandkids. She loved to go to the casino when she could.

Dolores is survived by children Nancy (Raymond) Toot of Hartland, Deb (Larry) Flatness of Hartland, Kim (Dave) Peterson of Waseca, Amy (Paul) Martinson of Owatonna, and Anna (Ed) Durst of Owatonna; grandchildren Ben Lutgens, Brandon Flatness, Sarah Madson, Andrew Flatness, Jennifer Nace, Ryan Peterson, Travis Peterson, Ali Brown, Kenna Brown, Myranda Shaw, Mason Lohberger and McKinzy Butler; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers David Lee and Dean Lee; and a large extended family.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Olson; parents Ernest and Pearl; sister, Bonnie Wendelboe; and great-grandson, Jack Flatness.
