Yarmouth – Mrs. Elizabeth Amirault, wife of Mr. Lézin Amirault, died at the hospital on the 11th of October after a short illness.

The deceased, age 85, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustin LeBlanc of Wedgeport and she leaves in mourning two daughters, Mrs. Clara Miller of Yarmouth and Mrs. Raymond Jeddry, Jennie, of Woburn, Mass.; three sons, Edgar and James of Yarmouth, and Theodore of Salem, New Hampshire. She was the grandmother of 26 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 22.

Her solemn service was sung at Notre-Dame de Fatima Cathedral, the 13th of October, by the Rev. Father Louis Armstrong, parish priest, attended by Rev. Father A. Poitras and Rev. Father A. LeBlanc. The pallbearers were all Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, Philip Hurlburt, Bob Cox, Roy Cooper, James Ryan, Don Nichols and Fred Emin.
