Beverly (Dottie) A. Blake, age 94, a lifetime resident of Omro and the surrounding area, died peacefully Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Omro Care Center where she has resided for the past 10 months.

Dottie was born September 1, 1923, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Albert and Meta (Prong) Ott. She married Alvin Blake on April 6, 1946 in Omro.

Dottie was a person who enjoyed life! Family was very important to her and always cherished the time spent with them. She also had a great love for her dogs. Dottie appreciated nature; being outdoors, fishing, bird watching and spending time taking care of her flower gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans for many loved ones, cooking wonderful meals to share, traveling and going up north with many family and friends.

Dottie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winneconne.

Dottie is loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Deborah Blake; grandchildren, Mark (Brandi) Rilling, Christa Markert, Peter (Brianne) Rilling; great grandchildren, Eric, Benjamin, and Jacob Rilling, Gavin Markert, Trinity, Tristan, Christopher and Christanna Rilling; brother, Roy Ott, special niece, Jody Luft; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Blake; father in law Sumner (Jack) Blake; sister, Shirley Stahl; niece, Judy Luft.

Private services will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff at Omro Care Center for the caring and compassionate care given to Dottie.
