Note: No death or burial record has been found for Peter, and he has no extant gravestone. However, he died as a young childless man within a year of his father's death, and it is probable that he was buried here in the same cemetery as his father. His death year is the most likely year based on the probate of his will.

Peter, the son of Surgeon John Greene and Joanne Tatersal, was baptized at St. Thomas in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England on 10 March 1621/2. He was married c. 1658 to Mary GORTON, b. say 1638, living in 1688, the daughter of Samuel Gorton and Mary Maplet. Following Peter's death, Mary m. (2) Portsmouth, RI 17 April 1663 John Sanford, b. 4 June 1633, d. 1687, the son of John Sanford and Elizabeth Webb. Peter was on a list of Warwick freemen in 1655, and was a commissioner in 1658. His will, dated 11 May 1659, was proved 1 March 1660. Peter and Mary had no children together. Mary had four children with her second husband, John Sanford, born from 1664 to 1677.
