Funeral services for Mrs. Annette Thompson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church in the Swartz Community. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with Rev. William Sikes officiating. Visitation will be prior to the services from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p. m.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Norfolk, VA on January 20, 1920 and passed away in West Monroe July 28, 2018. Mrs. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Monroe, LA., she was member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother, she will be remembered as a very private person, her favorite pastimes included; cooking, watching political shows and listening to gospel music.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Thompson; parents, Robert and Maggie Artrip;2 sisters, Dorsie Phipps and Shirley Dameron; 3 brothers, James Artrip, Dan Artrip and Reid Artrip.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Rolls; sister, Betty Monahan; brother, Walter Artrip; grandson, Steve Rolls and three great grandchildren, Steve Evans, Marcus Rolls and Malu Rolls.
