Obituary: RED SPRINGS - Services for Claude Cline, 82, Red Springs, are set for 10 a.m. Friday in the Red Springs Baptist Church with The Revs. Fred Morrow and Ernie Howard officiating. Burial will be in Red Springs Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale.
Mr. Cline died Tuesday night in a Tyler hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born April 17, 1904 in Renner, Okla. He lived the majority of his life in Red Springs. He was a farmer and retired from the maintenance department at the University of Texas Health Center at Tyler. He was a member of the Red Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, two daughters, a sister, Mrs. Helen McDowell, Mineola; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandhcildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Cline, James Royce McDowell, Jessie Ray McDowell, Mack Winters, Marshall Rivers, James Perryman, Macky Harris and Jessie Blackwell.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
