Evelyn S. Bauer, 86, of Greeley passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015.

She was born on October 18, 1929 in LaSalle to Charles and Mildred (Clarkson) Sylvester. She married Harry R. Bauer on May 23, 1948 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Greeley. He passed away on March 7, 2005.

Mrs. Bauer loved to play cards and was a member of several Bridge clubs. She also enjoyed bowling and bowled in different leagues in Greeley throughout the years. Evelyn served as a volunteer for North Colorado Medical Center for many years.

Survivors include her daughters, Diana Gerold of LaSalle and Terri Murphy of Ft. Collins; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Bauer and Jill Mazza both of Denver, Amy Schauermann of Longmont and Troy Murphy of Alexandria, Virginia; 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Doris Callender of Denver and a brother, Chuck Sylvester of LaSalle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bauer, her son, Ronald Bauer, a grandson, Robbie Gerold and a brother, Elmer Sylvester.

A graveside service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
