Lou Williams VALE Lou Ella Williams, 65, of Vale, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at her residence. She was born April 27, 1949, in Haywood County, to the late Loyd Allen Williams Sr. and Delcie May Law Williams. Lou was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Maiden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Johnson, and grandson, Thomas Edward Cole III. A Service of Remembrance will be held today (Saturday, May 10), at 2 p.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church in Maiden. The Rev. Kenny Allen will officiate. Burial will follow at Conover City Cemetery.
