STANLEY WALTER ARNSPARGER, 75, of 39 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, died Sunday at the Western Maryland Center. Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of Walter G. and Mabel Hammond Arnsparger.

From 1932 to 1934 he had his own radio program on station WJEJ as Stan the piano man. He later entertained as a pianist at many of the local clubs including the Swiss Cottage. He was most recently employed as night watchman at South Hagerstown High School, and prior to this was employed at Harbaugh's Heating and Plumbing Co. He was a member of Christ's Reformed Church and the Cleaver-Smith Bible Class. He was a member of the First Hose Fire Co.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine A. Harbaugh Arnsparger; two sisters, Hazelene W. Bender and Vivian A. Kirkpatrick, both of Hagerstown; and two brothers, Jack D., Franklin, NC; and Vaughn B., Port St. Lucie, Fl.

Services were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
