Bobby was born December 11, 1933 in Waldo, AR and served in the United States Army from 1955-57. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from Arkansas Power and Light Company, Couch Plant in Buckner. From 1964-94 he was a farmer and grower for Pilgrim’s Pride.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Grady and Eunice “Bill” (Walters) Black and his sister Wanda Elizabeth Henry. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Edith Black of Magnolia; children Candy Chowdhury and husband Rume of Sugarland, TX, Cathy Kelley and husband Ken of Magnolia, Sammy Black and wife Melinda of Magnolia; grandchildren Misty Neal and husband Mark of Houston, TX, Morgan Kelley and fiance’ Jared Wyrick , Megan Foshee and husband Brandon, Samatha Black, and Lauren Black all of Magnolia; three great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
