Funeral service for Mr. Randy O'Neal "Simp" Simpson, age 37, of 302 Jolly Drive, Gaffney, South Carolina, will be held on Monday, July 30th, at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Randy O'Neal Simpson, known as "Simp", age 37, of 302 Jolly Drive, Gaffney, South Carolina, answered the Master's call on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Fort Street, Gaffney.

Son of Mr. Elford Tate and the late Elizabeth Simpson, he was born on December 24, 1981, in Gaffney. He was heaven bound to join his mother, Ms. Elizabeth Simpson and grandparents, Mrs. Ella Mae Simpson, Mr. Elford Tate, Sr. and Mrs. Juliette Tate.

Randy worked with his father at Tate's Construction Company.

He leaves precious memories with his loving family: two daughters, Ms. Jaianna Jenkins and Ms. Jasmine Davidson, both of Gaffney; eight brothers, Mr. Christopher Simpson of San Diego, California, Mr. Russell Bonner, Mr. Travis Bonner, Mr. Flay Bonner, Mr. Kendrick Sarratt, Mr. Steve Sarratt, Mr. Joshua Wood and Mr. Vicienct Bonner, all of Gaffney; six sisters, Ms. Kerry Simpson, Ms. Tangie Bonner, Ms. Leslie Bonner, Ms. Claudette Bonner, Ms. Ivy Sarratt and Tiara Camp, all of Gaffney; his granddaughter, Na'Kiyah Davidson of Gaffney; four aunts, Ms. Annie Guyton, Mrs. Mary Camp (James), Mrs. Margaret Douglas and Ms. Shirley Wray, all of Gaffney; four uncles, Mr. Bobby Tate, Mr. Sammy Tate (Nancy), Mr. Sam Wray and Mr. William Simpson, all of Gaffney; two great-uncles, Mr. Miles Tate of Gaffney, and Mr. Bob Tate of Cowpens, South Carolina; three great aunts, Ms. Aria Corry, Ms. Nellie Littlejohn and Ms. Ida Mae Littlejohn, all of Gaffney; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives

Funeral service will be held on today, Monday, July 30th, at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the pastor, Dr. A. L. Brackett presiding, Reverend Robert L. Dover officiating, with others on the program - Dr. James W. Sanders, Jr. and Minister Annie Littlejohn. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He will in state at 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
