Marietta Pankey, 91, of Oil Trough departed this life Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was born April 22, 1927 to George Lee and Sadie (Tucker) Kramer. She was a member of White River Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for over 40 years. Joining the workforce in 1950, Mary was employed at International Shoe Company, Kramer Wholesale Grocer and retired from Wixson Brothers. Mrs. Pankey enjoyed cooking, and her family was very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband S.T. Pankey, one son-in-law; Ed Jones, six brothers; Coy, Clyde, George, J.B., Nelson and Don Kramer, and five sisters; Pearl Edwards, Della Wyatt, Gladys Cook, Ona Bannon, and Ernestine Franks.

Her survivors are one son; David Pankey and wife Cindy of Oil Trough, one daughter; Kay Jones of Oil Trough, one sister; Mildred Arnold of Batesville, six grandchildren; Walt Jones (Cami) of Springdale, Marcus Jones (Carrie) of Stavanger, Norway, Mary Kathryn Murphy (Mark) of Oil Trough, David Allen Pankey (Tiffany) of Oil Trough, Natalie Reynolds (Jacob) of Greenbrier, and Matt Pankey (Tara) of Madisonville, Texas, twelve great grandchildren; McCormick, Tucker and Marrhett Murphy, Will and Abby Jones, Carlie and Jaxon Reynolds, Allie, Emilee, Bradley, Shelby, and Grady Pankey.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at White River Baptist Church in Oil Trough, Arkansas.

Burial will be in Maple Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
