Adams, E. Clifford â?? age 91 years of Berwick, passed away May 25, 2013 in the Mayflower Unit at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton with daughter Helen by his side. Born in Berwick on June 30, 1921; he was the son of the late James and Edith (Bezanson) Adams. Dad worked on the family farm in his early years, was a truck driver, worked for M.L. Whittier and then spent thirty years with H.E. Margeson as a heavy equipment operator. Dad loved hunting, fishing and camping at South River Lake with his family. He was a past member of the Berwick Curling Club, and 32 Year veteran of the Berwick Fire Dept. He is survived by his daughter, Helen and son-in-law Michael Cohoon of Coldbrook; grandchildren Tina (Mike) Lutz of Berwick and Mark (Michelle May) Cohoon of Coldbrook; great grandsons Nicholas Lutz and Spencer Cohoon; great granddaughter Morgan Lutz. Also survived by sister Jean (George) Annand of Iroquois Falls, Ont. Dad was predeceased by his wife, the love of his life for 57 years Dot (Nicholl). Also, predeceased by his brothers George, Lloyd, Roy, Boyd sisters Blanche MacLeod, and Lou Dares. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel, from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 1:00pm with Rev. Dr. Judith Saunders officiating. Donations in memory of dad may be made to the Berwick Fire Dept., VON Home Care, or to charity of your choice. A special thanks is extended to the VON Home Care for their support over the years and to the Mayflower Unit for their wonderful care and compassion.
