Major Sir Kenelm Henry Ernest Cayley, 10th Bt. was the son of Sir George Everard Arthur Cayley, 9th Bt. and Lady Mary Susan Montagu-Stuart-Wortley.
He married Frances Elizabeth Edwyna Brewis, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Bertie Brewis and Dorothy Katharine Walker, on 17 September 1929.
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment.
He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge.
He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and became a POW.
He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Cayley, of Brompton, co. York [E., 1661] on 15 November 1917.
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)
He gained the rank of Major.
He fought in the Second World War.
