Gary George Marshall, age 63 of Allisonia passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the New River Valley Medical Center. Born September 29, 1954 in Pulaski he was the son of George B. Marshall & Madelin Stilwell Marshall. His grandparents, H.T. & Bessie Marshall and Martin & Dovie Stilwell also preceded him in death. Gary was retired from Long-Air Dox and was a car enthusiast. He had a passion for building race cars and restoring antiques. He cherished the time spent visiting with friends and family at local cruise-ins and car shows. He is survived by his parents; children, Kevin (Michelle) Marshall, East Bend, NC, Lucinda (Dwayne) Caldwell, Radford; grandchildren, Alan O'Byrne, Brittany Caldwell, Makayla Marshall and Madelyn Caldwell; brother, Larry (Connie) Marshall, Allisonia; sister, Janice M. (Gene) Holt, Pulaski; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM – Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Farris Mines Christian Church, near 533 Farris Mines Road, Allisonia, VA 24347 with Pastor Dennis Trail officiating. Interment will follow at the Farris Mines Christian Church Cemetery, Allisonia. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 PM until service time at the church. Bower Funeral Homes, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.

His grandmother was actually Pherbia Elizabeth Bond Marshall who died in childbirth with Harley and his twin sister, Pherbia, in 1930.
